I would like to tell everyone about how brilliantly I have been looked after by the NHS and Barnet Borough Council after breaking my hip during a fall.
The ambulance crew came quickly and dealt gently and efficiently in taking me to hospital.
Barnet Hospital A&E also were kind and after X-rays, put me up overnight so that a care package could be arranged for me to be looked after at home. The ICT team fixed up the equipment that I needed. A physiotherapist and nurse helped me out at home and up until now, I have had delightful carers coming in three times a day to help me regain my independence.
We are so lucky in what we have available to us and I want to say a big thank-you to all who have looked after me.
