Barnet MPs Theresa Villiers, Mike Freer and Mathew Offord have publicly stated their opposition to the council’s slash-and-cut library strategy. Therefore, Save Barnet Libraries invites them, as well as other parliamentary candidates, councillors and residents, to join our library marches to show support for a comprehensive library service run by professional librarians and library workers employed by the council.
Join us for all or part of a march on:
- Saturday, March 28 at 11am: Edgware Library to Mill Hill via Burnt Oak
- Saturday, April 11 at 11am: Hendon Library to Childs Hill via Golders Green
- Saturday, April 25 at 11am: Chipping Barnet Library to Osidge via East Barnet
- Saturday, May 9 at 11am: South Friern to North Finchley via East Finchley
