For Councillor Wayne Casey (‘Councillor should be demoted over his handling of road issues', Letters, July 3) to criticise Councillor Brian Coleman for gaining publicity in the media is surely a case of the pot calling the kettle black, given that Mr Casey is the master of jumping on any bandwagon going if it will get him a mention in the paper. The simple reality is that more people agree with Mr Coleman that Partingdale Lane should reopen than rather stay closed. More people agree with him that road humps should be removed rather than retained.
If the Lib Dems were as in touch with the electorate as Mr Coleman, perhaps they wouldn't have so few councillors.
