I was contacted by a company purporting to be undertaking “market research” on the New Barnet regeneration plans by Asda and Tesco.

Such was the transparency of the bias in favour of supermarket development which was embedded in the questionnaire design, one would hope any results will be treated with a mountain of salt.

Objective market research is fine, but readers beware such blatant manipulation of public opinion.
