Tube station flowers brighten my day

Amid the encircling gloom, one oasis of beauty and cheerfulness is the flowerbed beside the southbound platform at Finchley Central Tube station.

It is at present bursting with colour, and has a wide variety of plants large and small filling it.

I asked who had created it and was told it was one of the station supervisors. He is to be congratulated and thanked for brightening our journeys.
