Pothole danger remains in Edgware and Burnt Oak

I am extremely concerned about the number of potholes in Edgware and Burnt Oak that still have not been repaired after almost two months.

They are dangerous and causing serious damage to cars’ suspension and tyres. Some could be fatal to motorbikes and cyclists if the rider goes over the handlebars.

I’m sure there are more but here are some I am affected by:

  • Lanacre Avenue, at the junction near Heywood Drive
  • Montrose Avenue, at the junction near Watling Avenue
  • The top of Deansbrook Road, near Orange Hill Road.

If there are any claims for damage to vehicles, which I’m sure there will be, surely it will in the interest of Barnet Council to repair potholes?

It might interest you to know that, although Barnet claim that they inspect the roads in accordance with the code of practice, they do not do this. If you want proof - contact me.
