Development does not meet our needs

Robert Sacks defends the Brent Cross Cricklewood scheme as “taking into account all aspects of people’s needs”.

Why then will the development build over popular green spaces by Brent Terrace and the only green space in central Cricklewood?

Why then will the development build over and block realistic prospects of a new light railway in the area?

Why are local cycling campaigners unhappy at the lack of proper cycle route continuity?

And how does such a concentrated development, reliant on local combustional heating and with an expected 29,000 extra car movements daily, take into account the health effects of the added air pollution? Considering that already approximately one in 22 of all London deaths is a premature death due to air pollution according to the Mayor’s own figures? And considering that the European Commission has already given the UK final warning over air quality breaches in London?
