Remember the slim majority

Regarding the letter ‘MP should not ignore concerns’, Your Views, October 6.

Matthew Offord should be made aware that he only has a majority of 106.

One has felt he really doesn’t like replying to anyone unless they are on the side of the Goverment, just like the last MP for Hendon, but he did it in a different way by treating correspondents with contempt.

New Labour wasn’t a true Labour Party, as this present Goverment isn’t a true Conservative Party.

The saving of money to stop the council tax going up, is taken from the benefits they have taken from the subsidised coaches for elderly folks, which stopped in October 2011.

We are told we are all in this together, what a load of rubbish. You can fool people some of the time, but not all the time.

Prospective voters in the new ultra marginal constituency of Hendon are in a highly enviable position. In a couple of years both the Conservatives and Labour will be desperate for your vote. If they need you to vote for them, you are now in a position to make your own demands. Decide what it is you want from them, get together with as many like minded people as possible and pressure them in to delivering it. You’ve been given power, it’s up to you how you use it.
