    Join war on rubbish

I live in The Walk, Potters Bar, and am very concerned by the amount of rubbish littering our streets.

The Walk and surrounding roads, as well as Darkes Lane and Potters Bar train station are a disgrace. These areas are littered with rubbish, discarded mainly by customers from the nearby MacDonalds, Subway and Simmons Bakers. Also, the area is strewn with fag-ends, used parking tickets, sweet wrappers, broken glass, etc.

I have communicated my concerns to Hertsmere Borough Council waste management team on many occasions, but it does not seem to share my view.

I would be interested to know who else agrees with me. Perhaps they would kindly email waste.management@ hertsmere.gov.uk and request corrective action be taken. If enough people voice their disapproval then hopefully some improvements will be made.
