Tottenham Hotspur defender Adam Smith joins Championship side Millwall on three-month loan deal

Tottenham defender Adam Smith has joined Millwall on a three-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old played 90 minutes in Spurs' 3-0 win over Carlisle in the Capital One Cup but has otherwise found his first team opportunities limited this term.

The England Under-21 defender has made 89 appearances in the Football League during previous loan spells with Wycombe Wanderers, Torquay United, Bournemouth, MK Dons and Leeds United.
