Edgar Davids believes Barnet will face a “powerful” and “quality” Port Vale side at Underhill tomorrow.
The Bees have lost their last two League Two matches and have slipped back into the relegation zone.
The Valiants go into the contest in first place and Davids expects a "difficult" match for his side.
He said: “We are back at Underhill but are playing the number one side in the table. So it will be difficult for us.
“Port Vale are up at the top of the table because they have a lot of quality. When they played AFC Wimbledon I saw the match and even though they went 2-0 behind they came back to 2-2 and could have maybe squeezed a win out of it.
“They are a powerful side but they are near the top. So it will be up to them to come and win.”
Jake Hyde could return to the Barnet attack after missing the last two matches due to injury but Ricky Holmes is ruled out due to an ankle injury sustained against Bristol Rovers.
Dominic Vose could make his debut for Barnet while Curtis Weston may also be available after missing last weekend's loss at the Memorial Stadium due to illness and injury.
