Hendon suffered a second successive heavy defeat after being beaten 64-3 at home to London Welsh Amateurs in Herts/Middlesex League One.

From the kick off, Hendon found themselves on the back foot against a more powerful London Welsh pack.

After defending solidly for the first 15 minutes, Hendon’s resistance was broken and the visitors ran in five tries in the opening half.

In the second period, Lee Linale made several attempts to give Hendon some penetration with long kicks to touch.

From a lineout Hendon were stopped short of the try line and all they had to show for their efforts was a Linale penalty following two further scores for London Welsh.

The visitors crossed the line three more times to finish comfortable winners and relegation looms closer for Hendon who face OMT on Saturday.
