Edgar Davids risks missing four games for Barnet after the Bees decided to appeal his red card against Accrington Stanley.

The Dutch international was dismissed in the 85th minute of Barnet's 3-2 defeat on Saturday after receiving two yellow cards.

However, Davids insisted after the game that his second booking was incorrect as it was Elliot Johnson that had committed the foul on James Gray.

The former Juventus midfielder is currently set to miss two matches as it was his second red card of the campaign.

But if The FA feel it is a frivolous appeal, Davids could miss four games.
