Woking v Barnet - Preview
1:50pm Tuesday 8th October 2013 in Sport
Barnet travel to Working in the Skrill Premier this evening and Bees head coach Edgar Davids will have to contend with a number of injury doubts in addition to Andy Yiadom’s suspension.
Yiadom was sent off against Welling United and will miss the game and with Mauro Vilhete picking up a knock at the weekend, Davids has a selection headache at right-back.
When asked on Saturday about the other absentees, the Bees head coach said: “Luke Gambin has hurt his knee and that is a ligament injury and is out for around three weeks.
“ Elliot (Johnson) missed the game as a precaution and Jordan Brown has a patella tendon injury and that is a difficult one to cure.
"Mark Byrne’s ribs were heavily bruised and if you can’t breathe then that is obviously a problem.”
Davids admitted changes may be made to the side and added: “The guys who are on the bench can come in and do the work. We will have to see who is fittest and who will be ready of the game.”
Barnet have a good record against Woking and have not last in the last eight matches between the two sides, although their last meeting came in 2005.
