Finchley’s Dereck Chisora says he wants “a big opponent, someone who can test me” after he defended his WBO International title by stopping Ondrej Pala in the third round of their bout on Saturday.
The 29-year-old heavyweight was rocked in the second round of the fight at the Copper Box in London but recovered and the referee ended the contest in the third after Pala turned his back following a succession of blows.
It was Chisora’s four stoppage of the year and speaking after the fight, he said: "Fair play to the guy - he hit me with some good shots, but he didn't hurt me.
"I want a big opponent, someone who can test me, and that's what we're pushing for now.
"It's all about getting into the right position to fight for those titles. I've just got to keep fighting and keep winning."
Papa was not expected to cause Chisora many problems but did surprise ‘Del Boy’ with a powerful left hand in the second round.
But Chisora quickly regrouped and landed heavy shots to the head and body which brought a premature end to the contest.
