Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers duo Richard Goodman and Michael Callegari to compete at European Cross Country Championships

Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers duo Richard Goodman and Michael Callegari have been selected to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade on Sunday.

The pair were chosen after their outstanding runs at the European trials in Liverpool. Goodman will compete for the Under-23 side while Callegari will be in action for the Under-20 team.

Several Harriers athletes were in action at the Oak Hill parkrun at the weekend.

Jamie Harper (Under-13) set a new personal best of 17.47 to take second while Stuart Singer (V-50) was 15th in 20.32.

Gabriella Kyriacou (Under-15) was 17th in a personal best of 20.44 while Zoe Cavendish (Under-17) was 37th and Lydia Herridge (Under-17) was 60th.
