An injury time goal saw Wingate & Finchley suffer a 3-2 defeat against Dulwich Hamlet in the Ryman Premier.

Dulwich made the perfect start and went ahead in the opening 60 seconds. Kevin James hit the post and Ian Daly followed up to lob the helpless Bobby Smith.

Wingate looked to respond and Ahmet Rifat sliced a shot wide from 18 yards before he fired wide after good work from Spencer McCall and Dean Mason.

Smith made a superb diving block at the feet of James but there was little in the way of first half chances as both sides defended resolutely.

The second period was more open and Dulwich doubled their lead when Erhun Oztumer slotted home after a swift counter.

But the Blues pulled a goal back through Leon Smith and then Dean Mason equalised as he touched in at the far post.

Both teams had chances to claim a winner but it went to Hamlet in stoppage time as Ellis Green met a cross and sent his effort past Smith.
