Edgar Davids admits it will be a hard task for Barnet to sign Dani Lopez on a permanent deal and says he might be restricted to "window shopping" in the January transfer window.

Lopez's three-month loan deal from Stevenage ends this week but Bees director of football Paul Fairclough has said the club will do everything they can to keep the Spaniard.

Davids also wants the striker to remain at Barnet and the head coach said: "We are trying to keep him at the club but that is going to be a hard task."

The Dutchman was asked if there were any other areas of his squad he would like to improve during the transfer window, he replied: "Yes but if you don't have money what can you do? All you can do is window shopping."
