After a four-week break Barnet Elizabethans returned to action on Saturday but they were beaten 19-5 by Belsize Park in Herts/Middlesex League One.

The two sides cancelled each other out in the opening stages but Park managed to break through and score an unconverted try.

The score at the interval was 5-0 but Belsize improved after the break and went over twice in quick succession. The extras were added on both occasions.

Elizabethans grabbed a late consolation try through Lloyd Morgan and the defeat means they drop to fourth in the table.

Mill Hill and Hendon had a free weekend but return to action on Saturday.

Hendon face Feltham in Herts/Middlesex Two while Mill Hill take on Herts/Middlesex Three.
