Barnet will travel to Forest Green Rovers tomorrow, weather permitting, looking to secure back-to-back victories in the Skrill Premier for the first time since December.

The Bees were not in action last weekend as their match at Macclesfield Town was postponed and Forest Green will hold a pitch inspection at 8.30am tomorrow.

Should the game go ahead, Barnet will hope to build on their 1-0 win against Southport last time out.

Bees joint head coach Ulrich Landvreugd believes Barnet remain capable of reaching the play-offs and said: “That is still our goal. It won’t be easy on Saturday because Forest Green have a good and big squad and have some experienced players.

“But I think we can beat every opponent though and we are looking forward to it. The majority of our squad are fit so we will be going there for a win.

“But sometimes, depending on how the game goes, we could be happy with a draw but we want to get the three points.”

The Bees’ joint head coach confirmed Graham Stack will miss the game due to his calf injury while Harry Crawford and Luke Gambin will also be absent.

Several matches in the division were called last weekend and Barnet dropped to tenth in the table.

The number of postponed fixtures has left a many sides with fixture backlogs and Landvreugd believes some sides will struggle towards the end of the season.

He explained: “It is hard to say how it will affect teams but I think it will help teams with bigger squads at the end of the season.

“I’ve heard teams will have to play Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday and then Saturday and that is something I’ve never experienced before.

“I think that is when a big squad can help. You can only put 11 on the pitch but teams will struggle with injuries and suspensions at the end of the season.

“So it is definitely not an advantage for teams with smaller squads.”
