Barnet have signed Brentford attacking midfielder Charlie Adams on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old, who has made one league appearance for the Brentford first team, has been a regular for the club’s development squad and has netted seven times in 19 matches.
Should Barnet reach the Skrill Premier play-offs, Adams will be eligible. However, Brentford can recall Adams after the first 28 days of the loan if required.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford academy director, told the club's website: “This will be Charlie’s first loan move and it will be important for him.
“He has played well at Under-21 level and forced himself in to the First Team training group and match day squads.
“Conference football will be a different challenge for him and will help his development.
“Barnet are pushing for promotion and Charlie will be playing high-pressure football.
“He will also get used to training in a different environment.
“We will monitor him over the next few months and see how he has progressed when he returns.”
