Finchley ABC’s Eunnis Chaima produced one of his poorest displays of 2014 as he lost to Hamza Hussein in the National Youth ABA Championships final in Manchester.

Chaima, who was fighting in his third successive national 64kg final, was constantly beaten to the punch by his Huggys ABC’s opponent and never got into his stride.

There was more luck for Mo Gharib, who beat Sam Bezinee of West Ham ABC by a majority points decision.

Norris Thompson put in a respectable performance against six-time national champion Luke Saunders.

Saunders just shaded the decision but Thompson can take a lot of positives from the fight.

Jonathan Kumuteo followed up his win last week by beating Ben Moutha of Five Stars ABC.

Kumuteo dropped his opponent midway through the second round with a great left hook.

Elsewhere, schoolboys Ethan Campbell, Kane Constantinou and Liam Clark all lost on close points decisions.
