Finchley Amateur Boxing Club fighter Eunnis Chaima continued his international success for England with a points victory against Ireland’s Shane O’Neil.

In the first round, Chaima held the centre of the ring and pushed O’Neil back with straight lefts and rights. He finished the round with devastating left hooks to the head and body.

Chaima allowed O’Neil to come forward in the second before feinting and throwing head shots in twos and threes. He then released several shots into the Irish fighter’s body.

O’Neil was running out of steam and spat his gum shield out twice in an attempt to obtain a breather.

The last round saw both boxers go toe-to-toe with the Finchley fighter’s eye-catching punches to the head and body making the difference.

O’Neil was treated for concussion after the contest.
