Barnet have announced their retained list for the 2014/2015 season and there is a big surprise with Keanu Marsh-Brown being placed on the transfer list by the club.

The 21-year-old winger is one of ten players contracted with the Bees for the next campaign. He agreed a long-term deal with the club in December.

However, Barnet head coach Martin Allen says Marsh-Brown is available for transfer as the Bees look to increase funds.

In addition to Marsh-Brown, the players contracted are Graham Stack, David Stephens, Elliot Johnson, Andy Yiadom, Luisma Villa, Luke Gambin, Iffy Allen and George Sykes.

Mark Byrne will be offered a new deal with the Bees while Curtis Weston is in ongoing talks with the club.

Barnet have a one-year option on Mauro Vilhete’s contract but Allen is currently undecided whether to trigger that clause.

Bees top scorer Jake Hyde will be offered a new deal but has also been placed on the transfer list.

Hyde is out of contract but as he is under 24 years old and has been offered a new deal, clubs must pay compensation to the Bees in order to sign the striker.

If a side is willing to pay the necessary compensation he is likely to move on. Allen says if no club comes in for the striker, he will remain with the Bees.

Young forward Jamal Lowe is contracted but has also been placed on the transfer list while Nick Jupp, Freddie Warren, Ahmed Abdulla and Harry Crawford will be released.

Analyst Omar Yabroudi and sports scientist Konstantinos Lofitis will also be leaving the Bees while the future of assistant coach Dick Schreuder will be decided when he returns from Holland.
