Saracens' backrow Billy Vunipola lost out in two categories at the Rugby Players' Association end-of-season awards dinner on Wednesday.

Vunipola, 21, was up for the RPA England player of the year gong and the young player of the season crown but lost out in both.

Harlequins' Mike Brown took the England player of the year gong, whilst Bath's George Ford scooped the young player of the season title.

It has been a memorable season for Vunipola, though, who was named as the Premiership's discovery of the season last week.
