Owen Farrell’s ‘slight ankle sprain’ will not keep him out of Saracens’ Premiership title decider or England’s New Zealand tour, Mark McCall has revealed.
Saracens director of rugby McCall has confirmed Farrell is ready and fit for the final against Northampton Saints at Twickenham on Saturday and will resume his kicking duties.
Farrell, 22, will then jet off to New Zealand on Monday for England’s tour barring any incidents on Saturday.
However, Saracens are worried about the fitness of Mako Vunipola and are awaiting the results of a knee scan whether he can participate on Saturday and feature in England’s three-test tour.
