Finchley Racing Team's Pierides takes silver in National Master Circuit Race Championships
Finchley Racing Team rider Costas Pierides has gained a silver medal at the National Masters Circuit Race Championships.
The experienced rider finished behind gold medallist Jim Moffat after a sprint finish at the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit on Sunday.
Pierides said: "I am very pleased with the silver; my first ever medal in a national event."
"It’s a moral boost for both me and the club that has had a difficult start to the season," he added.
