London Broncos have signed stand-off Liam Foran from NRL side Parramatta Eels on a two-year deal.

Foran, 26, joins the Broncos from the Australian NRL side and will start training with his new side at the end of the 2014 campaign.

Head coach Joe Grima revealed at the weekend he had struck deals with two NRL players for the 2015 campaign as he looks to re-build for next season.

The Auckland-born New Zealander has previous Super League experience with Salford City Reds and has also turned out for Manly Sea Eagles and Melbourne Storm.

Speaking to the club's website, Foran said: "I'm really pleased that the deal is done and I'm extremely excited about becoming a London Broncos player and seeing what next year holds.

"I've been in constant contact with Joey Grima throughout our contract talks and I've really got a good understanding about his plans for the future and how passionate he is towards success," added the 13st3lbs stand-off.

Foran admitted that former Eels coach and player Grima had been a factor in agreeing to join the Broncos.

"I've been in constant contact with Joey Grima throughout our contract talks and I've really got a good understanding about his plans for the future and how passionate he is towards success," enthused Foran.

Grima added: "Having watched Liam play for the Melbourne Storm Under-19s right up to the NRL grade I know the standard he is capable of.

"It's pleasing and refreshing that this calibre of player want to play for the London Broncos and we're all excited to see Liam at the club next season."
