London Bees head coach Tom Donati has bolstered his squad with two new additions.

Forward Paula Howells, 19, has joined from Brighton and Hove Albion Ladies and midfielder Becky Anderson, 21, has signed from Coventry City Ladies.

Both players have previously represented England at youth level.

Speaking to the club's website, Anderson said of her move: "I'm feeling really positive and looking forward to the new challenge. It's a new set-up with a fairly young side so to arrive near the beginning of the club's evolution is a really exciting prospect."

Anderson won the Premier League Southern Division with Coventry last season but says the opportunity to move to the Women's Super League was not one she could turn down.

"I've been looking to make the next step so when London Bees offered me the chance to play Super League football I couldn't say no. I've just moved to the area so things have worked out perfectly and I couldn't be happier," explained Anderson.

Howells was similarly enthusiastic about linking up with the Bees: "I'd heard from a lot of people that I'd played with at England that it was a fantastic club with a great set-up and really supportive staff.

"I came to the first game of the season when they beat Oxford 3-0 and was really impressed with how they played," she added.
