London Broncos have suffered another blow after James Cunningham was recalled by parent club Hull FC.

Cunningham, 20, joined the Broncos at the beginning of the season and made 17 Super League appearances for the Londoners and scoring twice.

Speaking the club's website, head coach Joe Grima said: "I'm so proud to have been involved with Cunno, he's been a model player both on and off the field.

"I wish him all the very best with Hull FC and I feel he will be a real, real influence and might be just what they need to get them back into the top eight."

The Hull-born hooker displayed his versatility at The Hive, also playing at half-back on a number of occasions.

Cunningham's departure comes less than a week after Atelea Vea joined St Helens.
