Saracens continued their pre-season preparations ahead of the new Premiership season with a comprehensive 40-5 victory over London Scottish at Allianz Park on Friday night.

The home side ran in six tries as they proved much too strong for their Championship counterparts.

Jack Wilson went over for the first try of the evening with the game only five minutes old. And before long, both Ben Ransom and back-rower Jackson Wray had crossed to give Saracens a commanding lead at the break.

Saracens piled on the pressure in the second half and extended their lead further when Kiwi-born winger Wilson crossed for the second time in the match with an impressive solo effort.

Shortly after, the hosts added another score as Henry Taylor touched down, before a debut try from Maro Itoje capped off a strong display from Saracens.
