Director of rugby Mark McCall says the dressing room was not too subdued after Saracens' first Premiership defeat of the season on Friday - going down 21-11 at Bath.
Speaking to the club’s website, McCall said: "We’re disappointed with the result and there are aspects of the performance that could have been better.
But overall, it’s important to me that certain things that need to be present every week are present, and those things were there today in terms of effort and physicality, so we’re not too subdued."
The Ulsterman continued: "Bath are a good team. We have to give them credit and they played very well. I’m pleased that we bounced back early in the second half and got the try that gave us an opportunity to have a crack at the end of the match, but it wasn’t to be.
"Their two scores, from our point of view, were gifts really and it turned out to be one of those nights where you felt nothing was going to go our way."
Tries from Jonathan Joseph and Kyle Eastmond, as well as three penalties and a conversion from George Ford sunk Sarries, who scored their try through Chris Wyles.
