Finchley’s Dereck Chisora will finally go toe-to-toe with Tyson Fury in their long-awaited ‘Bad Blood’ re-match at the ExCel Arena in London on Saturday night with British and EBU heavyweight titles up for grabs.

The meeting tops a bill which also sees Billy Joe Saunders take on Chris Eubank Junior for the EBU, British and Commonwealth middleweight belts and Frankie Gavin face Bradley Skeete, with the British and Commonwealth welterweight titles on the line.

Chisora and Fury had originally been due to face-off in July of this year, but a fractured hand in the week of the fight saw Chisora pull out, prompting a furious response from Fury on Twitter: "@dellboychisora don't even think of pulling out of this fight b****! Don't do a @mrdavidhaye & be a s***house c***, you’ll b a laughing stok [sic]”.

The two fighters squared off in 2011 at Wembley Arena when an out-of-shape Chisora lost on a unanimous points decision to Fury.

Chisora became the second opponent to pull out on the Manchester-born fighter after David Haye postponed and eventually cancelled their bout last year.

Fury’s preparation has been far from ideal since, with a replacement found at short notice in Alexander Ustinov, but Fury himself was forced to pull out after his uncle and first trainer, Hughie, was taken seriously ill.

The bad feeling between the two has been building since the original postponement, with Chisora insisting 6ft 9in Fury should be fined for his foul-mouthed outbursts in press conferences, suggesting only a beating in the ring will alter the 26-year-old’s behaviour.

Fury inevitably responded, labelling Chisora as being ‘crazy' for wanting to meet him in the ring.
