Without a league fixture for the second consecutive week, Hendon beat UCS Old Boys Seconds 29-5 in a friendly on Saturday.
Hendon struggled to begin with and it was UCS who opened the scoring, before prop Liam Murphy crashed over from a rolling maul to level the match before the break.
The second half saw Hendon immediately take the lead when Paul Geraghty collected the ball from kick off and weaved past five UCS defenders to go over out wide.
From there on Hendon were in control, and a pair of converted tries from Arwel Roberts and a third from Gareth Foley completed a comfortable victory.
Hendon play host to second-placed Luton French on Saturday.
Barnet Elizabethans were not in RFU Cup action at the weekend and return to league action when they travel to London Nigerians on Saturday.
Finchley will look to end their five-match losing streak when they host Stevenage Town on Saturday.
