Barnet will look to extend their lead at the summit when they travel to Torquay United on Saturday.

After Woking beat Altrincham 2-0 to move into second on Tuesday night, the Bees saw their cushion at the top cut to seven points.

Fourth-placed Grimsby Town have seen their clash at Eastleigh postponed due to the Spitfires' FA Cup involvement, meaning Martin Allen’s side can look to enhance their lead.

Woking are away to Macclesfield Town, meaning one of the second and fifth-placed sides at least will drop points on Saturday.

The Bees head to Devon following their first win in three in the league, after suffering defeat at Bristol Rovers and only drawing at Woking.

Head coach Allen has only one existing injury concern for the trip to the south west, with defender Sam Muggleton sidelined by a shin fracture.

The Bees boss also revealed Keanu Marsh-Brown would return to training on Monday after spending time with League One outfit Peterborough United. Whether or not the wideman is in contention to feature remains unclear.

Saturday’s 3-1 win over Macclesfield Town was the final game before the first yellow card amnesty of the season, meaning David Stephens, Bondz N’Gala and John Akinde all head into the game with a clean disciplinary bill.

Torquay have drawn three of their five matches since winning 3-2 at The Hive at the beginning of November.

Chris Hargreaves’ side sit tenth in the Conference standings but are just threepoints outside of the play-offs following a run of just one defeat from six.

The Gulls will be without right-back Dale Tonge (knee) and central midfielder Ben Harding (hamstring) but Durrell Berry and Courtney Richards will continue to deputise for the pair, who both missed last month’s win.
