The futures of young Barnet trio Iffy Allen, Jamal Lowe and George Sykes could be resolved later today, boss Martin Allen has revealed.

Allen, Lowe and Sykes were all made available for transfer by the Bees before the January transfer window opened, with Allen stating the decision had been made for the good of the players.

Targetman Sykes scored once in 14 league outings on loan Bishop's Stortford, whilst elsewhere in the Conference South, striker Lowe netted twice in nine outings for Hemel Hempstead Town.

Versatile forward Allen made eight appearances for Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian Premier Division without registering.

All three have since returned to Barnet and started the development friendly loss against Oxford United last Tuesday.

Speaking on Tuesday morning, head coach Allen revealed there had been interest in the youngsters. He said: "There have been clubs wanting to take those lads out on loan and I will find out today what is happening with those lads regarding clubs taking them out on loan."

Only Lowe has appeared for the first team this term, coming off the substitute's bench in the 3-0 win at Dover Athletic in September.
