Barnet suffered a blow in their title challenge on Saturday as they lost 3-1 at home to Grimsby Town after conceding two last-gasp goals.
The Bees were some way off their best in the first half and fell behind when Christian Jolley converted from close-range.
However, a stunning 25-yard strike from Southend United loanee Conor Clifford pulled Martin Allen's men level ten minutes into the second half.
But the good work was undone when first Craig Disley and then Jon-Paul Pittman beat Graham Stack at the death to take all three points back to Blundell Park.
