Barnet could be without as many as three players for Saturday's visit from Forest Green Rovers but goalkeeper Graham Stack will be fit to face the Green Army.

Stack injured his forearm prior to kick off against Altrincham on Saturday but head coach Martin Allen says the experienced goalkeeper will play after receiving stitched to the wound.

However, right-back Andy Yiadom is only rated as "50:50" according to the Bees boss, whilst Sam Togwell (knee) and Charlie MacDonald were waiting on scans earlier in the week after missing the victory at Altrincham.

Player-coach Jon Nurse has returned to training after being sidelined since December with a strain of his medial knee ligament.

Barnet have only lost one of their last eight at The Hive but were beaten 3-1 by Grimsby Town in their last home clash and have since been knocked off the summit by Bristol Rovers.

But Allen insists a blip was inevitable: "You would have to say I was mad if I was to say confidence has not been knocked. Everybody is concerned; everybody realises I have had to make some changes.

"We have been ahead for so long; so to lose those games and be overtaken it has upset everybody. But it is the same in all the other divisions. We are not the only team in the country to be feeling this pressure and it is how as a manager I deal with that."

He continued: "It is just about getting these players to believe in themselves and getting these supporters to believe in the players.

"I think we have said all along there will be some tricky times, and let’s not kid ourselves, it has been tricky. To a man we have to stand tall, be calm and do our best to make good decisions in these challenging times."

Green boss Ady Pennock will be without James Norwood and Sam Wedgbury but welcomes James Marwood back following injury.

And looking ahead to Saturday's clash, he told the Stroud News and Journal: "We are really looking forward to Saturday.

"They have had an exceptional season; they have done really well. Martin Allen has done a fantastic job there and they have got a good team, a good club and good support. We know it is going to be difficult but we are going to go there and have a right good go."

Barnet won 2-1 against Rovers at The New Lawn earlier in the season thanks to Bondz N'Gala's last-gasp header and have only lost once to the Nailsworth side in the league ever, winning seven of their last nine meetings.
