Hendon lifted the Isthmian League Cup for the first time in 38 years on Wednesday evening by beating Grays Athletic 3-2 at Whyteleafe.
Nine minutes before half time Hendon took the lead as Andre Da Costa's effort was fumbled across the line by goalkeeper Lamar Joseph-Johnson.
And the Greens' lead was doubled five minutes later when Kezie Ibe crashed home a second for Gary McCann's side.
However, Hendon took their foot off the gas and were made to pay when Bradley Fortnam-Tomlinson halved the deficit.
But after the break Da Costa curled home a sumptuous second to re-open Hendon's two-goal advantage.
Mark Bentley's Grays side continued to push for a route back into the game and were rewarded when Wealdstone loanee Sean Cronin grabbed a late consolation.
