In a surprise move, Barnet boss Martin Allen has named his starting XI to face Gateshead at The Hive on Saturday in the Bees' promotion decider.

Victory will see Barnet return to the Football League regardless of what second-placed Bristol Rovers do at home to Alfreton Town.

The Bees head coach has announced via the club website he will name the same side which drew 1-1 at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday but has yet to decide on his substitutes for the game.

Barnet XI to face Gateshead: Stack; Yiadom, N’Gala, Stephens, Johnson; Vilhete, Togwell, Weston, Clifford; Gash, Akinde.

"All of the players are fit and well," he said. "We have trained well and are looking forward to Saturday’s game with a first sell-out at The Hive.

"We will play the same team as we did last Saturday with no changes. This team has done exceptionally well and of course we all recognise the importance of our substitutes and the impact that they have had over the past few weeks.

"The substitutes I will not decide or name until just before kick-off on Saturday afternoon," he added.
