Second rower Daniel Harrison stressed the London Broncos have a point to prove against the Sheffield Eagles this Saturday at the Summer Bash in Blackpool.

The Broncos fell to a heavy defeat at the hands of Sheffield in round two of the Kingstone Press Championship and Harrison says he will be relishing the occasion when they meet again this weekend.

"I’m looking forward to it, especially after our game earlier in the season, we’ve got a point to prove," stated Harrison.

"It’s set to be a big event where all the teams are playing over the two days in Blackpool. Everyone will be there to get behind their team and we hope all the Broncos boys and ladies will be there to support, we can’t wait to be there and have our fans behind us."

The two-day spectacular will be shown live on Sky Sports on Saturday (from 2:30pm) and Sunday (from 12:30pm) and Harrison hopes the TV cameras will lift the Broncos.

"I’m looking forward to it being a TV game, it’s good that it’ll be shown back home so mum and day can have a watch too. It’ll step a few of the boys up as they’ll want to put a performance in, I think a few boys will go an get a haircut to look good on the TV too," he joked.

The Broncos, who lost 40-32 at home to Featherstone Rovers in their last fixture a fortnight ago, face third-placed Sheffield Eagles on Saturday, May 23rd (kick-off 4:45pm) at Bloomfield Road, home of Blackpool FC.
