Barnet will enter the Middlesex Senior Cup next season and have been drawn against Staines Town in round two.

The Conference champions earned a bye in round one of the competition, drawn this morning, and will go straight into the second round against Staines Town.

Managed by former Brentford, Reading and Brighton & Hove Albion striker Nicky Forster, Staines finished 21st in the Conference South last season and were relegated into the Isthmian League Premier Division.

Barnet have traditionally taken part in the Herts Senior Cup but owing to their present location, they will instead compete in the Middlesex equivalent.

Incidentally, the Bees have twice won the Middlesex Senior Cup - in 1932 and 1933 - but have won the Herts Senior Cup a record number of times with 21 victories, the last of which came in 2011.
