Saracens’ Marcelo Bosch and Juan Figallo have both been included in Argentina’s 36-man squad for the upcoming Rugby Championship.

Bosch has won 33 caps for Los Pumas, whilst Figallo has turned out on 22 occasions for the South Americans, who will face New Zealand, Australia and South Africa in the annual competition.

Said Bosch: “It’s always nice to get a call to be the selected, so I’m really keen to begin our preparation with this tight-knit squad.

“Above all, being able to wear the shirt of Los Pumas is something that makes us all very happy.”

Argentina coach Daniel Hourcade said: “Our preparation will be different from the past because we have games in a short space of time.”

“The players who come from Europe have had a higher workload, so for physical training they will have personalised programmes, but when it comes to the rugby, they will work alongside the rest of the group because in three weeks we will play against the All Blacks.”

“For the matches against South Africa, we will try to line up the team we are thinking of for the World Cup.”

Argentina travel to Sydney on Saturday, July 4 and then play Randwick in a friendly on July 9, before beginning their Rugby Championship campaign. They face New Zealand in Christchurch on July 17, ahead of playing Australia on July 25 and South Africa on August 8.
