London Broncos have bolstered their squad for the 2016 season with the signing of USA international Mark Offerdahl on a two-year deal.

The move is subject to a successful Visa application.

Offerdahl joins from the Tweeds Heads Seagulls in the Queensland Cup in Australia and has previously played for the Connecticut Wildcats, East Tigers, Illawarra Cutters, AS Carcassonne and the North Wales Crusaders.

He has also represented his home nation nine times, turning out for them at the 2013 World Cup.

Speaking about the move to the Broncos website, Offerdahl said: “I’m very pleased to be joining the Broncos, it’s a club I've been wanting to sign with for a while now. I can't wait to get there and start training.

“The Broncos are a full-time team who want to be back in the Super League and I want to be a part of that. I've played in a few different countries but never lived in London which is a very appealing city to live in," he added.

The London Broncos head coach Andrew Henderson was thrilled with the addition and said: “I’m really excited to be bringing Mark to the club, as a player he predominately plays prop but can play on an edge as well so gives us some versatility.

“Mark will also bring with him a wealth of experience from the different competitions that he has played in, many of which are a similar standard to the Championship, but he has also experienced the big stage playing for his country."
