London Broncos slipped to a second successive defeat in the Super 8s on Sunday, going down 41-24 to Hunslet Hawks at The Hive.
Coach Andrew Henderson’s men took a tenth-minute lead when Matt Garside went over but were pegged back by Kyle Trout’s converted try.
James Cunningham and George Flanagan then traded tries with London trailing 12-10. Sadiq Adebiyi hit back before the break for the hosts with William Barthau converting.
But the visitors crossed the whitewash three further times before Ben Hellewell scored two tries in seven minutes; Barthau kicking the extras.
Hunslet took the game away from the Broncos as Simon Brown kicked a penalty and converted Jack Lee’s late try.
Next up is a trip to Dewsbury Rams on Bank Holiday Monday (kick-off 3pm).
