Barnet striker Michael Gash has been nominated for September's League Two Player of the Month award after scoring four times in five games.
The 29-year-old striker, who had not played in the Football League until this season, opened his account in league football with a bullet header in the 3-2 loss at Carlisle United and has not looked back since.
He then scored the winner against Stevenage a fortnight later and followed that effort up with a brace in the 3-2 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge the following game.
Gash will go up against Wycombe Wanderers utility man Michael Harriman, Mansfield Town defender Krystian Pearce and Accrington Stanley midfielder Matt Crooks.
The winner of the award will be announced on Friday.
