Barnet have received a number of enquiries for out-of-favour midfield duo Mauro Vilhete and Ben Tomlinson whilst former Manchester United starlet Danny Galbraith is no longer training with the Bees.

Vilhete has been subject of a loan offer from National League side Boreham Wood – as the Times Series revealed following Barnet’s defeat by Accrington Stanley a fortnight ago.

Allen confirmed the versatile Portuguese was free to join ambitious Wood, who boast former Bees Charlie MacDonald, Conor Clifford and David Stephens already, but he remains at The Hive.

The utility man, along with summer signing Tomlinson, scored in a 3-2 win for Barnet’s Development Team against the Nike Academy at The Hive on Tuesday and speaking afterwards, Allen told the Times Series the duo had attracted interest from other clubs.

“Nothing has happened at the moment,” said Allen. “But there has been a number of enquires for Ben Tomlinson and Mauro Vilhete. But, as yet, no offers.”

Tomlinson, who joined Barnet on a two-year contract from Lincoln City in the summer, has struggled to replicate his form of the past two years with the Imps, for whom he scored 32 league goals in just 78 starts.

He has, however, made just one league start for the Bees since his summer move south and was sent out on loan for a month before returning last Monday having made seven league appearances for Grimsby Town.

Allen confirmed last week the 26-year-old attacker, who was utilised as a striker in Tuesday’s friendly win against Nike Academy, would be allowed to move out on loan once more.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United prospect Galbraith, 25, is no longer training with Barnet.

“We can’t take him at the moment,” explained Allen. “He’s a left-sided player – not a winger – but at the moment we’re not able to take him.”

Galbraith was in the stands as Barnet beat York City a fortnight ago but was not present as the Bees clinched their first away win of the season, defeating Oxford United 3-2.
