Edgware Town picked up a potentially decisive win in the Spartan South Midlands Division One title race on Saturday as they beat leaders Crawley Green 3-1.
In front of England C manager, former Barnet boss and current Wares patron Paul Fairclough, Edgware moved within two points of Crawley in front of their biggest crowd since reforming.
Ahmed Bilal opened the scoring from the penalty spot but Crawley soon levelled.
However, Jay Molloy (pictured) poked home to make it 2-1 and the Wares never looked back.
Bilal then tucked away his second from the penalty spot after the break, with Crawley down to ten following a foul on debutant Jack Ward.
