There have been no offers for transfer listed Barnet captain Andy Yiadom but both Mauro Vilhete and Ben Tomlinson have rejected loan moves away from The Hive.

Yiadom was made available for transfer earlier this month after turning down the offer of a new contract with the Bees.

As the former England C international is 24 he would be able to leave without Barnet receiving a fee for his services. For that reason head coach Martin Allen made the right-sider available.

However, the Bees boss confirmed to the Times Series today there have still not been any offers for the former Watford scholar.

Wingers Vilhete and Tomlinson are both available for loan or transfer after falling down the pecking order at Barnet this season.

Vilhete’s loan deal at Boreham Wood officially ends tomorrow while Tomlinson’s temporary stay at Tranmere Rovers is also scheduled to end tomorrow.

Both players have returned to the club early, though, so Allen can try to get them off the wage bill.

“There’s been interest in Mauro and Ben,” he told the Times Series. “But neither of them wanted to go.”

Tomlinson, who only joined the Bees on a two-year deal from Lincoln City in the summer, had already been on loan at Grimsby Town for a month before spending almost three months with Tranmere.

Article Five of the FIFA player transfer rules stipulate a player cannot play for more than two teams in a single season, or be registered with three, unless the league’s calendars run differently.

Tomlinson has already played for three clubs. However, Allen says the attacker's loan deals were struck in a way which enables him to play for a fourth team this season.

“That rule doesn’t apply,” said Allen. “There’s a certain loan that lets them play for who they want.”
