An encouraging first-half display from Barnet saw Oxford United move through the gears and net three times to win 3-0 at The Hive on Saturday with.
Callum O'Dowda got the first from an acute angle, stabbing beyond Jamie Stephens at the near post after his initial effort had been blocked.
The same player then doubled up, charging forward only to see his shot blocked again by Stephens. He was allowed to turn back onto his left foot, though, and slot home at the near post.
Oxford killed the game off late on when Danny Hylton controlled a ball in from the right and fired low beyond Stephens.
